The University of Utah Athletics Department has high standards for their student athletes and coaches. We strive to win championships, achieve academic success and graduate student athletes at levels higher than University and national averages.

The level of financial support from State and University funding continues to decrease making the need for private support paramount to succeed in reaching our lofty goals.

The Crimson Club Athletic Fund exists to provide this financial support. The Crimson Club Athletic Fund goals and the best way for donors to play a major role in the academic and athletic success of our 19 varsity teams and almost 400 students are listed below.

Your support allows us to reach these goals:

Goal 1: Assist student athletes in reaching their full academic, personal, and professional potential.

The number one way you can help support a student-athlete academically is by donating an annual scholarship. Annual scholarship donors are provided membership in the exclusive Scholarship Circle, our premiere membership level.

Any gift of $50 or more provides scholarship support and provides the gift of education.

Goal 2: Provide the highest quality practice and competition facilities to help coaches recruit top student athletes.

The most pressing facility needs is the new Men’s and Women’s Basketball Training center. This center will include:

  • Two Gymnasiums
  • Strength & Conditioning Center
  • Locker rooms
  • Film room
  • Sports Medicine Center
  • Basketball Hall of Fame

The Athletics Department continues to build and upgrade our practice and competition facilities. In future years we anticipate building or renovating facilities for softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, track & field, and more. Your support in upgrading the infrastructure of Utah Athletics is essential to our future success.

Goal 3: Provide the best college experience to each student athlete.

A great way to help support your favorite Utah team is to give directly to a sport. Direct gifts provide flexibility for coaches to provide additional team needs which enhance the experience of the student athlete and team.
