Champion Swimmer Getting Ready to Save Lives

Jonathan Larsen, a senior freestyle and butterfly swimmer from Stockton, CA, is the 2004 and 2005 Mountain West Conference champion in the 100 freestyle race.

Jonathan is planning to graduate in the Fall of 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Education.  He is grateful for the opportunity his Crimson Club scholarship afforded him to come to a four-year university right out of high school and get a great education. Following the spring semester he will begin looking for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) job opportunities which will prepare him to be a fulltime firefighter. He is open to any advice from Crimson Club members to make sure he is doing all he needs to do to keep him on track.  When he finishes school next Fall, he will head back to southern California and start fighting those desert fires.

Jonathan Larsen is another fine example of Crimson Club memberships helping produce quality student athletes who will one day make a positive impact on society because of their opportunity to compete and learn at the University of Utah.  Congratulations and good luck Jonathan.
